Mr Rohit Kochhar is the National Chairman & Managing Partner of Kochhar & Co.and is actively involved in advising numerous multinational clients on various aspects of investments in India. In the past, Mr. Kochhar has been conferred with the ‘National Law Day Award’ for Excellence in Corporate Law by the Hon’ble Vice-President of India.

Mr Kenneth Cutshaw is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Church's Chicken. He was a partner with the law firm Holland & Knight, LLP, one of the largest law firms in the world. Mr Cutshaw serves as Honorary Consul for India in the United States. He has also served for six years with the Administrations of President Ronald Reagan and President George H.W. Bush at the U.S. Commerce Department in various international trade positions.

Mr Rajesh Ambwani has more than a decade of experience in working on various applications of Information Theory to problems in text classification, data compression, performance analysis and data mining. Prior to joining hands with KLexServe, he was responsible for setting up Performance Direct Software (focused on providing backend support for Direct Marketing industry), Uniforge Bearing Company (for manufacturing auto components) and Proton Software (for systems integration).

Manish Vig is the Managing Director of KLexServe, India’s preeminent LPO that has been promoted under the aegis of Kochhar & Co. The primary responsibilities of Manish include but are not limited to formulating and implementing business strategies, managing client relationships and overseeing the company’s operations and global business development activities. In this capacity, Manish has been at the forefront of developing a key component of the LPO business – providing technologically advanced software solutions that help law firms and legal departments, collate, track and manage complex contractual and regulatory documentation

At KLexServe, Manish has led teams that have done path breaking work in terms of providing technology solutions to law firms and in house legal departments including developing intelligent document management systems with cutting edge functionalities, full-text searchable electronic databases, web based robust and secured software solutions for preparation of first draft of contracts, end-to-end contract management, intellectual property portfolio management and tracking, smart e-billing, payments, collections, expenses tracking systems with best-in class reporting for law firms, etc.  

Prior to joining KLexServe, Manish was working with ASSOCHAM, the premier Apex Chamber of Commerce & Industry of India as an Assistant Director (IT & Telecom). During his tenure in ASSOCHAM, Manish worked closely with government ministries and industry chieftains in Information Technology and Telecommunication industry on various policy issues of national interest.

Manish holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, a Deemed University and a Bachelors degree (B.E.) in computer science and engineering.



Rama Sarma, Partner-IP Practice, Kochhar & Co. Rama is a Partner in the Firm. He is a registered Patent Agent with the Indian Patent office. He has represented a number of multinational corporations (including Fortune 500 companies) in protecting their Intellectual Property Matters. A number of cases argued by him have been reported in Law Journals.

Rama has 15 years of experience in Corporate Laws and Intellectual Property Laws. His area of specialization is Intellectual Property Laws especially in enforcing Trademark rights. He has also handled several transactions relating to the licensing of Software Trademarks and Patents. His experience in Trade Marks include, Opinions on Trade Mark Search Reports, Opinions on issues relating to trade marks, Anti Counterfeiting, Opposition and Rectification proceedings before the Registrar of Trade Marks, Assignments, Licensing of Trade Marks and Registered user. He has experience in matters relating to infringement and Passing Off of Trade Marks. He is also experienced in Patent Search, Software Protection, Intellectual Property related Litigation, Design laws and in respect of laws pertaining to Protection of Trade Secrets and confidential information.

He is a member and a group leader of the WSG Group Brand Management and Patent Litigation. He is also one of the lawyers located in the website of the Martindale Hubbell. He is a regular contributor to the The Economic Times, The Hindu , The Business Line and Manupatra.

Rama has also advised several Indian and Multinational Companies on a host of Corporate Law issues, Domain name Litigation, Contractual liabilities, Employment contracts, and Exchange Control. He is also experience in handling Due Diligence assignments. He has filed several Patent applications in India and other countries. He is experienced in handling Litigation in the Supreme Court of India and all High Courts of India. He has experience in handling matters before the Company Law Board and various other Regulatory Affairs.

Apart from his area of specialization, Rama also has experience in Commercial and Corporate laws with emphasis on Joint Ventures, Technology Transfer Agreements, Public issues etc. He speaks in various forums in India and in other countries. He also is a visiting faculty at several law colleges in India and in U.S.A.

Rama also authored a Book on Intellectual Property Laws on Patent and Designs - Volume - I which was published by WADHAWA & CO.

He also has to his credit the selection of his biography in the First Edition of Marquis Who's Who in Asia and Who's Who in World. He is in the panel of visiting professors of the Jaipur National University and the Gandhi Nagar National Law University.

Dhruv Wahi is a Partner in the firm and heads the firm's Litigation Practice. He has vast experience in general commercial corporate laws, domestic and international arbitration, injunction laws, writs, tenancy laws, real estate laws, family laws, employment laws, labour laws, accident claims, claims and disputes relating to product liability, family laws, intellectual property laws, insurance laws and maritime laws. During his tenure of 18 years in active litigation practice, he has represented various large Indian and multinational corporations, banks, financial institutions, insurance companies and individuals before the various courts, tribunals and foras throughout India.

He is primarily engaged in a variety of litigation before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, District Courts (both civil and criminal), Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Commission, National Consumer
    
Disputes and Redressal Commission, New Delhi and the various national, state and district consumer redressal forums.
         
He is also representing a major ship building and repair company from Bahrain in a suit instituted on it's behalf under the admiralty jurisdiction of the high court of Mumbai for the arrest of ship and has been successful in procuring the arrest orders. He has represented and safeguarded the interest of some of the largest corporations from Japan, Netherlands, Denmark, Singapore, Canada, Italy, Sweden, India, U.K. and US before various courts.

Stephen Mathias is the Partner in charge of the Bangalore office of Kochhar & Co. He also co-chairs the firm's Technology Law Practice, the first of its kind in India. Stephen began his career as a corporate lawyer doing mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, joint ventures and strategic investment work. He specialises in acquisitions of public companies.

Stephen represents some of the worlds largest information technology companies and his work involves setting up software development and BPO centers in India, software licensing, e-commerce and outsourcing. He is a leading expert on legal issues relating to outsourcing to India.

Stephen is rated by Global Counsel 3000 as the Leading Individual for Information Technology and E-Commerce work in India and is listed by the Asia Pacific Legal 500 as one of the Leading Names in the Indian

Legal Profession for IT and Telecom work. He is listed in the International Who's Who of E-Commerce Lawyers and also Euromoney-Guide to the Worlds Leading Technology, Media and Telecommunication Lawyers.
